I took it in and had it sent to my bodyshop where it was professionally painted with base/clear coat (not much bodywork was done as the car was pretty straight and solid to begin with. Some new trim was purchased, including wheel well moldings on all four corners and the old rear bumper was replaced with a newly replated one that looks great. Interior was presentable so it was cleaned up well and detailed. Same for the motor which had already been rebuilt a few years ago and sounded great. Convertible top was in decent shape but the rear window was shot, so i had my upholstery guy replace it with a brand new plastic window. My mechanic went through it and made sure everything was on the up by putting in a NEW alternator, adjusting the carburetor and some tune-up items as needed. Very presentable and a NICE DRIVER the way it sits right now. Interior is in GOOD condition with only minor general wear here and there. Seats look good with minor general wear from coming in and out the car but NO rips. Door panels very presentable. Dash pad is fair with a couple of cracks down the middle. Carpet is older but still very presentable. Convertible top is fair/good with new rear plastic window and perhaps a handful of tiny dime sized slits from opening and closing but nothing that lets water in (was originally white, and has been dyed in black some time ago). Overall a very presentable driver quality interior! Under the hood lies the stock 400ci 4bbl. V8 which is virtually 100% stock except for regular tune-up items, M/T style finned aluminum valve covers, Chrome air cleaner and Edelbrock 4bbl. carburetor. It has been serviced with newer tune-up a few months ago, NEW alternator, carburetor adjustment and other minor things as needed. Starts at the turn of the key and runs/drives very strong. Good stock power overall and brakes stop WELL. Nice and solid throughout. Very fun to drive and you can hop in and drive it right now. I've driven it mostly around town here and there, a few times on the highway and a couple of times to a local cruise night spot near me and it has never let me down. Being an old car, it is NOT perfect by any means. Paint shines up NICELY with good luster for a nice driver. A couple of small chips and some faint scratches on the trunk lid, otherwise very clean and shows nicely. Could use some very minor wetsand and buff to bring it up just a bit. Panel fit is ok although not perfect and doors, hood and trunk lid could use minor adjustments to get them to sit 100% flush. Underide has normal scaly surface rust throughout. SOLID FRAME throughout. Trunk is pretty decent as well with a couple of small patches but everything seems nice. Floorboards look pretty solid overall with some small holes that were previously patched with sheetmetal over them. Not working: couple of small gauges not working perfectly, perhaps a bulb or two may need replacing. Missing: spare/jack, radio. Small dent at base of front bumper center section, hardly noticeable. Small exhaust leak probably by collector gasket or somewhere close. That's about all I was able to notice. It may need a few other tiny things as any other used car, so please keep that in mind. Chevelle Malibu SS Convertible. This is a beautiful car that is a great driver. Color is Red w/white top and interior. Body is original and straight, but this isn't a matching numbers car. Engine would've been a 283, but is now a rebuilt 350 with under 10,000 miles -- with Power Glide Transmission. I've owned the car for 3+ yrs. It was professionally inspected 3yrs ago by Stasek Chevrolet's Classic Car team in Wheeling, IL. They had said it was "very clean" and a "great find" - thoroughly inspected - and any work was done by their classic auto staff. Car was trailered for work, which included new alternator, battery and rewired. Since then, it's just been slight tune-ups. Interior is clean, normal wear. I took it to a custom shop for high-end stereo that has a retro-face radio that is digital - ipod dock in glove box, custom speakers in molding under dash and two speakers attached to frame of backseat. Trunk has a Jensen pre-amp. The body is clean. The only body work we could find was a small patch on the right side of trunk that does not show from outside. The car is very clean underneath, too. There is minor rust spotting in the trunk. It's only on the surface and just needs to get cleaned up. Roof has a cosmetic-tear in the back above window, but it doesn't leak. Wheels are chrome mags. Have installed seat belts in front and rear. The car was found in great condition in IL (garaged) and has continued to be garage-kept and well taken care of. It shows well, is a lot of fun to drive and will turn heads.

Last year for the chrome bumpers, all original, numbers matching,106,000 miles , ps, pb, pw, tilt/tele, ac (blows cold), fact. alarm, orig am/fm, 350, nice interior, Great for shows... unmolested survivor with original, matching numbers engine and transmission. Here is a great example of a milestone Corvette! C3 nostalgia has driven the 1972 to become a collectible!! Newer models lack the unique features of the this model year. The 1972 Corvette was the last year to have chrome bumpers front and rear, removable rear window, hidden wipers, egg crate front grille and side grilles. With lower compression ratios introduced in 1972, this car can use regular unleaded gasoline available at any retail gasoline station. The car I am offering has a great looking exterior finished in Chevrolet Classic White with a very clean original Saddle interior fitted with leather seats. Options include working factory air conditioning, power windows, power brakes, tilt-telescopic steering wheel, factory luggage rack and original am/fm stereo radio, posi-traction. All gauges are operative with exception of the original factory analog clock. Vacuum driven headlight doors and windshield wiper cover work as designed. The frame and underside were professionally inspected by D&M Corvette, Downers Grove, IL and were found to be in excellent shape. The windshield frame also is solid New parts installed since 2006 are: Tires, brakes and master brake cylinder, spark plugs and wires, ignition points, condenser, starter, fan clutch, tachometer cable, water pump, (original General Motors OEM pump included) all drive belts, heater core and hoses. Recent maintenance performed includes tune-up, rebuilt distributor and air conditioning repair. Rear spindle play was measured in 2008 by D&M Corvette and found to be well with in tolerances. 1966 Ford Mustang Convertible. I purchased this car about two years ago. new chrome was added around the wheel wells and chrome door guards. rewired the dash, added a new heater box, cables and controls. upgraded the brakes to power assisted brakes and changed the shifter assembly and lnkage. The car comes with three sets of hubcaps, all in good to excellent condition. On set has black inserts, one set of spinners, and the car has a set with red inserts on it. The engine is a 1970 302 with a edlebrook aluminum intake and 4bbl carb. The engine runs smooth and has no leaks or mechanical issues, Inew windshield washer bag and tubing but have not installed the pump yet. That's all it needs. The transmission shifts flawlessly and there are no leaks or drips. This is not a show car but turns heads wherever she goes and creates a lot if interest at our local car nights and area classic shows. I would not hesitate to drive this car anywhere. The interior is excellent with no tears in the seats or carpets. There are new embroidered Mustang mats, front and rear. There is also a new embroidered car cover included. This little beauty starts right up and sounds great with it's dual exhaust. It drives excellent and has no issues mechanically, all electrical components work as they are supposed to. There are no suprises. The top is new and the top motor works without a hitch. The car currently shows 5252 miles on this 1970 302 engine. Standard on the 10th Anniversary was the two-tone silver and charcoal paint. There were also special badges (decals) that were placed on the car signifying the 10th Anniversary Edition. All of the 10th Anniversary car were nicely equipped with the WS6 handling package, custom silver interior with "shag" carpet and the Firebird emblem embroidered in the door panels and also in the rear seat back. Also standard on all 10th Anniversary Trans Ams were power windows, power locks, Air Conditioning, power trunk release.... in sort, pretty much every option available at the time. Also, the interior was also trimmed with a special "Engine-turned" gear shift bezel that went nicely with the dash, which for this model was illuminated red instead of the normal white gauges. You really can't tell in the day, but at night it gives a whole new feel and look to the inside. The T-tops were also a special mirrored finish instead of the drab "smoked" finish of T-tops seen previously. The 10th Anniversary Trans Am was also the first time you saw the "Turbo" wheels seen on later Special Edition Turbo, Pace Car, and other Turbo Trans Ams. All-in-All, this wasn't your ordinary "run-of-the-mill" Trans Am. Just about everything on this car was taken to the next level to celebrate the 10th Anniversary of this popular Musclecar. Unlike Special Edition Trans Ams of the past, this car could easily be identified by using the VIN number as a reference. Instead of the normal "S" or "W" to signify Firebird or Trans Am, the 10th Anniversary had a "X" as the second digit in the VIN number to signify it is Special. 847 609 0064

This 1985 Red Corvette beauty was used exclusively for the "Chicago Honey Bears," who cheerleaded for the Chicago Bears football team, and performed at hundreds of events. This is a very nice restored/redone 1970 FASTBACK, new body panels, no bondo...no rust... have been all replaced and painted with a really super nice blue color, body is very straight , gaps line up nicely, the interior has been all redone as well, digital dash is new and installed correctly, rebuilt 351 numbers matching motor, rebuilt c6 trans. the brakes, suspension, bushings gas tank, have all been replaced to new condition as well ,car drives excellent and handles like new, all glass/chrome/trim pieces in fabolous condition, this car is an awesome driver for car shows parades, etc.. This 1973 Pontiac Trans Am started life as a Formula 350 4 speed car. It has been cloned into a Trans Am.....Body has 97k miles-- The car has a decent driver quality paint job with all the correct decals. The engine was rebuilt by the previous owner (less than 2years on tit under 5000 miles)with 10.0 to 1 compression and a mild cam. The car has nice dual exhaust and sounds great with a nice mild lumpy idle. It runs fine on standard pump gas. It has an aluminum intake with a new edelbrock 750 carb. The car is very solid the floors and trunk are original only the rear quarters were replaced and the front clip due to making the T/A change. The floor is uncut and still has the 4 speed tunnel with a B&M shifter mounted on top of the original 4 speed hump inside the factory console. The 4 speed pedals are still in the car and the Z bar is in the trunk along with a set of fender flares and the factory valve covers. The car has a 3.08 10 bolt posi rearend. The car looks great and turns heads every where it goes. needs some minor interior work and other small things--not a show car--its a project or drive--. 1966 Pontiac GTO. (REAL GTO) This is a hot, hot ride with huge potential.It is worth every penny. It is in very good shape, but has a few things to remedy before it is "show ready". First off, a description: It is pearl white with a blue tint. It has a Pontiac 400c.i.A 4bbl Holley, headers, dual exhuast all the way back. Runs great and the rumble is pure music. It has a Muncie M-21 4 speed transmission with a Hurst shifter, with a 4:11 gear. The black interior is in great shape and was recently redone ,The carpet is like new. The seats have no tears or rips. The original console is not installed in the car, but I do have it. It is in original condition, as in 43 years old condition, The body is solid and does need some work. and it could use a fresh paint job if you want it to be SHOW QUALITY. The trans is need of some minor repairs as it is not engaging in 3rd or 4th gear. Likely a linkage issue, possibly forks aren't aligning properly. You must see it to appreciate it. 847 609 0064
